Role
The panel provided advice on the definition and revision of eligible cohorts for new COVID-19 therapeutics from December 2021 to March 2023. This included a process to provide advice on questions from patient and clinician stakeholders, through a nominated clinician representing a group or individual.
The panel was formed of senior clinicians from all 4 nations. It provided advice to the 4 UK Chief Medical Officers for agreement of the UK clinical policy.
More information on NHS COVID-19 treatments can be found on the NHS website.
