The Board is now called the Horizon Compensation Advisory Board.
This independent advisory board was established to oversee the GLO Compensation Scheme.
It does not have a role in individual cases, but monitors the overall progress of the scheme, ensuring that the process is working well and identifying any blockages.
Its membership comprises:
- 2 academic experts in the field of alternative dispute resolution and legal ethics
- 2 parliamentarians recognised for their past involvement in pursuing the resolution of the Horizon scandal.
The board is supported by a Department for Business and Trade (DBT) secretariat and officials.
