Independent Expert Panel on Corporate Re-domiciliation
A UK corporate re-domiciliation regime makes it possible for companies to move their place of incorporation to the UK and therefore make it easier to relocate to the UK. This will strengthen the UK’s position as a global business hub and an open, competitive free-market economy.
The introduction of a regime will require changes to company and tax law. The Indpendent Expert Panel was established to provide independent, non-binding advice to the government on how best to establish a UK corporate re-domiciliation framework.
The panel, chaired by Professor Vanessa Knapp OBE and made up of top financial and legal professionals, has finalised its report and presented it to the department.
