A group that provides advice on issues related to the operation and implementation of the RTFO order.
Role of the group
The Renewable Transport Fuels Obligation (RTFO) Expert Advisory Group (EAG) has been established to inform the operation and implementation of the RTFO order.
It provides technical advice, input and expertise on issues around carbon and sustainability of biofuels for road transport which primarily focuses on:
- the administrator’s carbon and sustainability technical guidance which companies report against on a monthly basis
- reporting on the social, environmental and economic impacts of the RTFO
