The UK Agriculture Market Monitoring Group reviews and analyses market information from government and industry for the main agricultural sectors in the UK.

The UK Agriculture Market Monitoring Group (UKAMMG) reviews and analyses market information from government and industry, including prices, production and trade for the main agricultural sectors in the UK.

It provides advice to senior officials and ministers on market developments and also provides a forum for the discussion of market impacts across the UK.

The UKAMMG analyses the following sectors as markets of principal importance:

  • cereals and other arable crops (including sugar)
  • sheepmeat
  • beef
  • pig meat
  • poultrymeat and eggs
  • milk and milk products
  • fruit and vegetables

Membership

Our members include representatives from Defra, DAERA, Scottish Government and Welsh Government.
