  • fire policy
  • Home Office elements of fire operations
  • Grenfell

Corporate responsibilities 

  • deputy for the Home Secretary on corporate matters (e.g.) Departmental Board
  • finance, including the spending review, budget and fiscal events
  • oversight of MPs’ correspondence processes
