• intellectual property (including copyright, trademarks, patents, design, enforcement)
• Co-chair of PBS (Professional and Business Services) council
• cross-cutting EU engagement with Lord Livingston – each BIS Minister will lead on EU engagement on areas within their policy brief
• all BIS business in the Lords – excluding trade/exports and science/higher education
