A spot check inspection of Border Force’s operational response to general aviation flights at London City Airport

The Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration has commenced a spot check inspection of Border Force’s operational response to general aviation flights at London City Airport.

The inspection team will visit London City Airport on 31 January and 1 February 2024.

The scope of this inspection will focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of Border Force’s operational response to general aviation flights at London City Airport, including:

  • compliance with the Border Force general aviation policies
  • record keeping
  • assurance

The inspection team anticipates reporting to the Home Secretary in February 2024.
