The Highways Agency will be carrying out resurfacing, and associated road marking and road stud work on the A63 between Garrison Road roundabout and Southcoates Roundabout in Hull, next week.
Work on the eastbound carriageway will begin on 21 March and take place overnight between 8pm and 6am until 31 March. During the work the eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight and a signed diversion route will be in place.
Work on the westbound carriageway will begin on 28 March and take place overnight between 8pm and 6am until 7 April. During the work the westbound carriageway will also be closed overnight and a signed diversion route will be in place.
During the closures drivers will be diverted from Garrison Roundabout, onto Great Union Street, at the next roundabout onto Clarence Street and then right onto Holderness Road. Drivers will then take the third exit to Mount Pleasant (A1033) and continue onto Hedon Road, rejoining the A63 at Southcoates Roundabout.
During the work road users are advised to plan their journeys to avoid delays. Every effort will be made to ensure disruption to traffic and residents is kept to a minimum. For up to date traffic and journey planning information, contact the Highways Agency Information Line on 0300 123 5000.
