Press release

A64 Brambling Fields slip road closure for safety work

Drivers using the A64 in North Yorkshire are being advised that the eastbound exit slip road at the Brambling Fields junction east of Malton will be closed for a week for maintenance.

The £50,000 project, which includes ditch cleaning, will start on Monday (17 March) with round the clock working around the slip road until Saturday March 22.

Road users normally leaving the eastbound A64 at the junction will need to leave a junction earlier at the Pickering Interchange and use the southbound B1257 to get to Brambling Fields via Malton.

Highways Agency project sponsor John Howard said:

This is routine maintenance to ensure road users can continue to use this slip road safely.
