Abu Qatada to Remain in Custody

The Special Immigration Appeals Commission has ruled that Abu Qatada will remain in custody ahead of next stage in his deportation process.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

“Qatada is a dangerous man and we are pleased the court agreed with us that he should remain behind bars before he is deported.

“We intend to remove Qatada as quickly as possible. The assurances we have secured from the Jordanian Government will allow us to do that.”
