Animal medicines improvement notice: Jubilee Pharmacy t/a Meditech UK
Details of the improvement notice served on Jubilee Pharmacy trading as Meditech UK, Wednesbury, West Midlands.
This notice was issued to Meditech UK as they were;
- advertising unauthorised veterinary medicinal products (VMPs) on their website, also authorised VMPs for species not included in the Marketing Authorisation
- manufacturing and placing on the market products which are not compliant with Schedule 6 (Exemptions for small pet animals)
The improvements required are:
- Products advertised on the Meditech UK website are to be advertised correctly and in the appropriate sections of the website
- Non-compliant products and unauthorised products to be made complaint with Schedule 6 requirements or to be withdrawn from sale.
