On 8 March 2017 at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court, Ms Anne Edwards pleaded guilty to 4 charges of fraud by false representation, contrary to section 2 of The Fraud Act 2006.

Ms Edwards was given a 12 month community order with a 20 day rehabilitation activity requirement (targeting budgeting, problem solving and consequential thinking).

Ms Edwards was also ordered to pay £100 prosecution costs and a £85 victim surcharge.

This case related to prescription fraud in which Ms Edwards dishonestly made false representations on multiple occasions, namely by submitting prescriptions for veterinary medicines to online pharmacies, purporting that they had been issued by a Veterinary Surgeon.
