Application process for Chevening Scholarships opened in Chile
The Chevening Secretariat is accepting applications for 2017/2018 Chevening Scholarships until 8 November 2016.
Applications for the 2017/2018 Chevening Scholarships programme are now open in Chile. Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The scholarships offer the opportunity to study for a one-year Master’s degree at any of the UK’s leading universities, and are awarded to outstanding established or future leaders across a wide range of fields including:
- Climate change and renewable energy
- Public policy and administration
- Science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship
- Education
- Mining
The programme provides a unique opportunity for tomorrow’s leaders to build a global network of continuing professional significance and also to establish social, cultural, academic, or commercial partnerships with the UK.
Following a recent increase in investment in the scheme from the FCO, we are pleased to be able to offer approximately 1,500 scholarships across the globe, including in Chile.
Applications for a Chevening Scholarship must be submitted online at www.chevening.org and the deadline for receipt of applications is 8 November at 12:00 GMT (mid-day UK time). Applications received after this date will not be processed.
Interested applicants should read the online guidance and demonstrate how they meet the Chevening selection criteria before submitting an application. Please visit www.chevening.org/chile to learn more about Chevening Scholarships in Chile.
