Applications for Chevening Scholarships in Colombia are open

The British Embassy in Colombia is pleased to announce a call for applications for Chevening Scholarships. The scholarships are aimed at at young professionals identified as potential future leaders. The programme funds postgraduate courses at world-class British universities and covers return air fare, a monthly living allowance, health insurance, and tuition fees.

Applicants should be university graduates, with a minimum of 2 years work experience and commitment to return to Colombia after completing their studies. To apply, go to the Chevening Colombia website where you will find the eligibility requirements and the online application form. Applications will be open from 2 September to 15 November 2013. The process includes an interview at the embassy for selected candidates.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Chevening Scholarships Programme. At present, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office offers scholarships to citizens of more than 116 countries, and there are more than 41,000 Chevening alumni throughout the world.
