Barbados National Parent Teachers Associations meeting
At a well attended meeting of the Barbados National Parent Teachers Associations Inc on 31 October, a number of speakers came to talk to parents, guardians and young students about studying university, particularly overseas.
Speakers came from the Student Revolving Loan Fund and the Ministry of Education.
They were joined by Gilly Metzgen, Political Officer at the British High Commission. She explained the benefits of studying in the UK and outlined a number of areas that potential students should consider, including suitability and length of courses and choosing the right institution.
