Belgian Defence Minister De Crem in London for World War One commemoration talks
Ministerial talks on Belgian and British commemoration plans and bilateral defence relations
Belgian Defence Minister Pieter De Crem discussed Belgian and British plans to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War and defence matters of mutual interest with the Minister for International Security Strategy and the UK Prime Minister’s Special Representative for the Centenary Commemoration of the First World War, Dr Andrew Murrison MP.
This meeting of 31 January 2013 followed one between Defence Minister De Crem and UK Secretary of State for Defence Philip Hammond on 29 January 2013 in which they discussed bilateral defence relations between the UK and Belgium, as well as military operations in Mali.
