Dr Chris Mann and Dr Peter Leib, academics from RMAS Sandhurst (British Army Officer School), presented a course in Counter Insurgency Operations on the week of 29 July – 2 August. This activity was organised as part of the ongoing efforts to reinforce and strengthen the close ties between the British and Chilean Ministries of Defence.

Additionally, on the week of 5-12 August, Dr Arron Edwards and Dr Edward Flint will be presenting a Conflict Management Course as part of a wider, very active, bilateral agenda carried out between both countries.

The courses are taking place at the National Academy for Political and Strategic Studies (ANEPE) for 20 students from the Chilean Ministry of Defence, the National Intelligence Agency (ANI), Carabineros Police and from the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.
