British Embassy Ashgabat in Turkmenistan, call for tender

The British Embassy in Ashgabat is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers to enter into an annual maintenance contract.

The British Embassy in Ashgabat is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers to enter into a contract for the provision of full range of maintenance and repair works, inspection, installation or decommissioning (when/if required) of:

  1. 2 canopy generators 50 kVA with 2 control panels
  2. 4 gas boilers
  3. 7 electrical boilers
  4. 6 voltage regulators
  5. 5 distribution boxes
  6. 6 water pumps
  7. water taps
  8. municipal infrastructure: water and gas pipes
  9. fire alarm system & smoke detectors
  10. door locks
  11. electric and gas stoves
  12. windows
  13. sockets, plugs, lamps, TV satellite dishes, CCTV cameras, telephone lines, A/C connections, washing machine and dish washing machine
  14. electrical works
  15. any other equipment or appliance acquired in future

In addition to the above the Supplier will be expected to maintain monthly records for the following:

  1. annual hose reel, hydrant and riser checks/tests
  2. fire extinguishers
  3. fire door inspections
  4. door locks
  5. inspections and maintenance of water heaters
  6. fuel storage tank inspections
  7. fuel usage
  8. generators maintenance

General conditions

Services shall be provided at properties rented by the British Embassy Ashgabat, and the Embassy’s office. The estate comprises of two residential properties and the Embassy. Services shall be provided on monthly basis. The Supplier shall provide all requisite materials for the proper execution of the services, including tackle, machinery, tools or other appliances and everything necessary for the use of his workforce. They shall be responsible for transport, removal and making good in respect of the materials they provide.

The Supplier shall propose the qualified workforce with support documents such as certificates, list of experience and education.

Term of the contract

The contract for one year will be signed with the successful supplier.

The Embassy reserves the right to terminate the procurement process at any time. By issuing this invitation the Embassy is not bound in any way and does not have to accept the lowest or any proposal and reserves the right not to award any contract or to accept the whole or any specified part of the procurement.
