British Embassy Baku - Call for bids

The Bilateral Programme scheme for 2013/14.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The British Embassy Baku now invites bids for small projects under the Bilateral Programme scheme for 2013/14. The absolute maximum of any bid is £10,000. Bids above this amount will not be considered under this scheme.

The deadline for bids is 28 May at 17:00 (local time). The Project Proposal Form [MS Word Document, 93.5KB] must be submitted electronically to Baku.ProjectBids@fco.gov.uk

All bids must be aimed at meeting the following criteria:

Governance and Democratisation

Support for public sector policy management, public finance management, legal and judicial development, property rights, democratic participation and civil society, elections, activities in support of free media and the free flow of information, human rights and gender equality.

Global Public Goods, including climate change.

The project must be aimed to support the welfare and development of the country. Please note that the payments will be made only in arrears. We will not be able to make pre-payments.

All projects must be completed by 1 March, 2014 at the latest.
