British Embassy Belgrade: UKTI Internship vacancy
A six-month internship to support the UK export promotion. Deadline for applications is 13 May.
The Commercial Section (UK Trade and Investment) of the British Embassy, Belgrade is recruting for an intern, for a period of approximately six months, beginning in May/June 2013.

Complete and return the Application Form in Annex A of the document by email to Belgrade.Com@fco.gov.uk with the subject line “INTERNSHIP APPLICATION - [your full name]”

Together with the application form, submit by email a letter, written in high-quality English and no longer than 600 words, which clearly states:
- your motivations for applying for the position
- what you hope to get out of an internship at the British Embassy, in terms of personal and professional development
- reasons you believe you would be a strong candidate for the position, with a particular focus on your skill-set
Please also submit a short resumé listing your educational background and any significant work experience, and some details of your hobbies and interests. You do not need to include a photograph with your application.
Applications received after 9am on Monday 13 May will not be considered except in exceptional circumstances.
Background
UK Trade and Investment is the UK Government department responsible for: helping British exporters to enter new foreign markets; for assisting UK companies operating overseas when they face a problem; and for attracting foreign investment into the UK. At the British Embassy, Belgrade, we promote UK exports by helping British firms find customers and partners. We are hiring an intern for the first time to assist the team with research, analysis and customer service; administrative support; and conducting special project work. The internship will be a valuable educational opportunity for a good intern. It will provide valuable evidence of work experience with a prestigious institution.
