The British Embassy Quito was pleased to donate 12 rugby balls to the Ecuadorian Rugby Federation. Her Majesty’s Ambassador, Patrick Mullee, invited the President of the Federation, Nicolas de Napoli, to take part in the handover which represents a great contribution to the development of rugby as a sport in Ecuador. This particular donation will go towards the training of Ecuador’s “Piqueros” rugby team. The British Embassy Quito will also be working with the Ecuadorian Rugby Federation later on this year to celebrate the inauguration of the Rugby World Cup 2015 in England, which will take place from September 18th until October 31st.
