Sport activities in Kosovo
The British Embassy in Pristina supported a project entitled “A better tomorrow for all through basketball” which took place in north Mitrovica, from 25-29 September 2013. The aim of this project was to begin building relationships between Serbian children from the south and north of Kosovo, something which is essential for the long term future of this community.
With more than 130 participants from Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zubin Potok, Zvecan, Strpce, Gracanica, Gorazdevac, Babin Most, and more than 500 visitors, the event was a real success. The tournament was organised as part of the UK’s GREAT campaign.
Well done to the winning teams and thanks to all those that contributed to the event.
