British Embassy Vilnius observes Remembrance Day

The British Embassy will hold the Remembrance Day Service on 8 November (Sunday) at the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

The British Embassy, in partnership with the Canadian Embassy and the International Church of Vilnius, will hold the Remembrance Day Service on 8 November at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Vokieciu str.20 at 9:30. Everybody is welcome to join the service, which will take up to one hour.

The Remembrance Service is dedicated to commemorate the British and Commonwealth soldiers who died in service during conflicts from World War I to the present day.

After the ceremony the British Ambassador Claire Lawrence will lay a wreath at Rg Cupples’ grave in the Rokantiskes cemetery.
