Consular services of British High Commission Wellington to operate from different location
Due to earthquake damage, British High Commission consular services will operate from the Australian High Commission until further notice.

Due to the temporary closure of our office building, the British High Commission will be operating consular services from the Australian High Commission, 72-76 Hobson Street, Thorndon until further notice.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am till 1pm.
If you need consular assistance out-of-hours, please call 04 924 2888. Please note that we will not be able to provide physical “out of hours” services in Wellington until we have returned to our own building.
We encourage British Nationals requiring emergency travel documentation to go to our online booking system, noting that because of the current situation most emergency travel documents will need to be issued by our Auckland office. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
