British High Commission in Ghana supports Ghana Immigration Service

The UK government has donated IT equipment to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) worth over £10,000.

The UK government has donated IT equipment to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) worth over £10,000.

This is part of a wider project aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of the Ghana Immigration Service to effectively manage migration in the national interest.

The Head of Migration Policy for West Africa, Mr Charanpreet Walia, reiterated the commitment of the UK government to support Ghana Immigration Service.

Receiving the items the Director of Ghana Immigration Service, Mr Peter Wiredu on behalf of GIS and Ghana Government expressed gratitude to the UK Government and promised to ensure that the items are used effectively and maintained properly.
