British Scholarship scheme application period closes this Friday

The beginning of November sees the last week of the application period for the Chevening Scholarship for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

8 November is the closing date for applications. Those in the region who wish to study for a post-graduate degree in the UK are encouraged to apply for an award via the online application process at www.chevening.org.

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). The scholarship programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the United Kingdom.

Current Scholars are Shena-Ann Ince from Barbados studying law at Cambridge University and Jihan Williams from St Kitts and Nevis studying law at Queen Mary, University of London.
