A British trade mission from the Energy Industries Council ‘ EIC’ will visit Oman on 15-17 September 2014. The EIC is the leading trade association for UK companies that supply capital goods and services to the Energy Industry Worldwide. With offices in London, Billingham , Aberdeen, Houston, Rio de Janeiro , Singapore and Dubai, the EIC works to provide member companies with the tools capable of identifying and maximizing business opportunities worldwide. The EIC membership consists of operators , contractors and suppliers across all areas of energy sector. The sectors covered by EIC include oil and gas, petrochemical , power generation , transmission and distribution, renewables, LNG and Pipelines. The aim of the trade mission to Oman is to strengthen existing and establish new business relationships between the UK and Oman in the energy sector in general and oil and gas sector in particular.
The trade mission’s delegates will meet representatives from Omani businesses which cover their respective sectors and officials from the Ministry of Oil & Gas.
