Following on from the highly successful event in 2012, UK Trade & Investment are staging a regional healthcare exhibition on 4 and 5 February 2014 at the Residence of the British Ambassador in Vienna.

Around 60 UK companies will highlight their products to buyers, distributors, agents and hospital executives from 10 countries throughout Central and Eastern Europe. The UK exhibitors and the attending CEE delegates will be invited to a networking reception at the Ambassador’s Residence on the evening of 4 February.

UKTI Trade Advisers from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia will also attend the event to brief the participating companies on healthcare opportunities in their markets. This year the event will span over 2 full days and will include a rich and varied programme of company presentations.

Tim Buisseret, Head of UK Trade and Investment Sofia, said:

I see very good prospects for the UK health-related products and services in Bulgaria. The healthcare system is open for suppliers of innovative goods and solutions and the market is easily accessible through EU regulations. I am really pleased that Bulgarian companies and medical experts will have the opportunity to exchange views and ideas with the UK participants at the regional event in Vienna.

You can find more information about the exhibition in attached brochure Vienna Healthcare Event (MS Word Document, 182 KB).

Participation of CEE delegates is part-sponsored by UK Trade & Investment. If you are interested in joining the Bulgarian group, please contact Martha Rasheeva at martha.rasheeva@fco.gov.uk
