Bushfire near Margaret River, Western Australia
On 23 November 2011, a large bushfire in the Margaret River tourist region of Western Australia destroyed at least 20 homes and caused many people to move to an evacuation centre in the Margaret River township.
The Foreign Office advises British Nationals in the affected area to monitor the local media for the latest developments, and follow the advice of the local emergency authorities.
