Change of Governor of Gibraltar: Lieutenant-General Edward Davis
Lieutenant-General Edward Davis CB CBE has been appointed as Governor of Gibraltar and Commander-in-Chief.
Lieutenant-General Edward Davis CB CBE has been appointed as Governor of Gibraltar and Commander-in-Chief to succeed Lieutenant-General Sir James Benjamin Dutton KCB CBE. Lieutenant-General Edward Davis will take up his appointment in early 2016. Mrs Alison MacMillan MVO will assume the functions of Governor of Gibraltar until Lieutenant-General Edward Davis formally takes up his appointment.
