Change of His Majesty’s Ambassador to Germany: Andrew Mitchell

Andrew Mitchell CMG has been appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, in succession to Jill Gallard CMG CVO.

This was published under the 2022 to 2024 Sunak Conservative government

Mr Andrew Mitchell CMG has been appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, in succession to Ms Jill Gallard CMG CVO who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. 

Mr Mitchell will take up his appointment during September 2024.
