Changes to Standard Crime Contract 2022

The LAA has made changes to the 2022 Standard Crime Contract in relation to:

  • office opening hours
  • supervision requirements

Summary of the changes

  • Flexibility introduced for office opening hours; providers will be required to have their office open for at least 7 hours between 8am and 8pm on each business day.
  • Greater flexibility on face-to-face supervision; this will now only need to take place in the same physical location where providers determine that this is required. This replaces the requirement for supervisors to attend each office at which they supervise staff at least one day per calendar month

Why is this happening now?

The changes to office requirements and supervision are being made following feedback and subsequent consultation with the representative bodies.
