Charge’ d’Affaires Simon Mustard visits Zarqa

Charge’ d’Affaires Simon Mustard went to Zarqa on Tuesday as part of his public diplomacy plan. He visited a women’s Vocational Training Centre and an ice cream factory that has been supported by the DFID funded Nomou Initiative. Upon his return Charge’ d’Affaires Simon Mustard said: “It was especially encouraging to see employment programmes specifically targeted at women” and regarding the entrepreneur running the ice cream factory: “a really impressive example of a young Jordanian doing an impressive job in building a business and employing local people.”
