Charity concerts to showcase Britain's cultural heritage
In launching our Presidency of the G8, Prime Minister David Cameron commented that open societies and open governments will help drive lasting global prosperity.
In this spirit, the British Ambassador to Luxembourg, the Honourable Alice Walpole, will be providing support for a joint initiative by Luxembourg charities, Luxembourgish and International musicians (the Byrne family, Marielle Probst), to support the Institute for Healing of Memories.
Two charity concerts, on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April, will provide an opportunity to showcase Britain’s cultural heritage.
The ambassador is pleased to be able to support this work and encourages people to attend the concert and support this worthwhile initiative.
