Chevening Financial Services Fellowship applications open in India

Applications for fully-funded Chevening Standard Chartered Financial Services Fellowship are now open until 14 November 2016.

Eight brilliant mid-career professionals working in the financial sector will be chosen for the 8 week fellowship programme that will be run at King’s College London.

The programme scheduled to begin in June 2017 is customised to build expertise in specialist skills such as risk management, actuarial sciences, investment management and financial regulation which will increase the talent pool in the Indian market and provide a fillip to growth in the sector. Chevening India is pleased to present this excellent opportunity to Indians in partnership with the Standard Chartered Bank, one of UK’s largest banks.

The objective is that the fellows return to their professional positions of influence and continue engagement with the UK to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in their field of work. The fellowship will offer a high quality professional development opportunity which will provide specialist skills to encourage innovation and help improve industry capability in India.

The fellowship is designed for mid-career professionals working in the financial sector who can potentially contribute to policy making and applications are encouraged from members of the Ministry of Finance and associated entities, financial regulators such as RBI, SEBI, IRDA, PFRDA etc, influential academics, think tanks, entrepreneurs particularly in areas such as financial technology & asset management and professionals from the government, public and private sector.
