UK Government Chevening scholarships are awarded to talented professionals who are potential future leaders. The scheme operates in 120 countries, including Venezuela. The scholarships offer financial support to study a Master’s degree at the UK’s leading universities, as well as the opportunity to become part of an influential and highly regarded global network.

Upon the opening of the new Chevening application period, Ambassador Catherine Nettleton said:

For the last 30 years, the Chevening scholarship programme has made it possible for outstanding individuals to reach their full potential as future leaders in their fields, by enabling them to study at world-class universities across the UK.

Earlier this year, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office announced the welcome news that it would significantly increase its investment in the Chevening Programme. This means that, starting from this year’s selection process, we will be able to increase the number of scholarships we are offering in Venezuela.

I encourage gifted young Venezuelan men and women to apply for this prestigious scholarship and further their studies in the UK.
