Chevening scholarships applications are now open in Ecuador
Applications for 2015-2016 Chevening Scholarships in Ecuador are now open and will close on 15 November 2014.
The Scholarships not only offer financial support to study for a Master’s degree at the UK’s leading universities, but the opportunity to become part of an influential and highly regarded global network.
We aim to attract talented professionals who are potential future leaders, decision-makers and opinion formers. The priority areas for this year’s Chevening Scholarship Programme in Ecuador are:
- Human Rights, Governance and Democracy
- Media and Journalism
- Security
- International Trade and Investment related areas
- International Relations and Diplomacy
- Sustainable Development and Climate Change
Last year, one Chevening Scholar from Ecuador, Hugo García, studied an LLM in Law at Cambridge University. This year, another Scholar, Pablo Dávila, will study Political Science at the University of Edinburgh.
A Chevening Scholarship in Ecuador includes: a monthly stipend, travel to and from your country via an approved route, an arrival and excess baggage allowance, a thesis or dissertation grant, the cost of an entry clearance visa and tuition fees.
