Civil news: changes to hourly rates screens in CCMS

We are making changes to the Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) to make it easier for providers to submit large hourly rates bills.

Changes are being made to the hourly rates screens in CCMS to simplify the questions that are asked and reduce the available responses.

Why is this happening?

We want to make it easier for providers to submit large hourly rates bills through CCMS.

Simplifying questions and reducing the available responses means less data will need to be entered into the hourly rates screens. This should reduce timeout errors for large hourly rates bills.

What does this mean for providers?

Visually some of the billing screens will appear different. Updated guidance on ‘line by line bill performance issues’ is available on the LAA’s training and support website to help you. This includes updated screenshots.

When are the changes being made?

We made the changes overnight in time for the morning of 22 September. CCMS remained online while the work was taking place.
