Civil news: registering cases as ‘high cost’ in CCMS
Submit a Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) query to register a case as ‘high cost’ rather than sending an email.
When registering cases as ‘high cost’ within CCMS you should simply send through a ‘case query’ and avoid sending an email as well.
Sending both a ‘case query’ and an email just creates additional work.
A ‘case query’ can be used for any high cost enquiry, including:
- registering a Care Case Fee Scheme (CCFS)
- requesting an exceptional exemption
- contacting the team for advice
There is no need to contact the team to find out what dates they are processing as this information is available on GOV.UK – see below.
