Civil/crime news: feedback and responses to provider reference group events
Summary of key points from our stakeholder engagement events.
A summary of some of the key issues raised at our Provider Reference Group (PRG) events over the summer of 2014 is available to download .
Discussions at the events were across a range of issues, including:
- civil and crime case management
- moving work online
- changes to crime legal aid processing
- criminal justice system efficiency programme
- updates on call handling, bill processing and applications, and reducing errors
The summary document contains Legal Aid Agency responses to a number of issues and questions raised by providers.
More than 550 providers booked on to one of the 11 PRG events, which were held in cities across England and Wales.
