The Committee also publishes new blog post on police leadership written by Professor Dame Shirley Pearce, Chair of the College of Policing.
Last week the Committee on Standards in Public Life completed the final of five visits to police areas as part of the inquiry into local policing leadership, ethics and accountability. Area visits were held in the West Midlands, Essex, Manchester, Northumbria and Warwickshire. Members of the Committee met with key stakeholders including Police and Crime Commissioners, members of Police and Crime Panels and Chief Constables. A summary of the five visits has now been published on the Committee’s website.
