The British Embassy in Havana is in contact with the Cuban authorities to urgently find out more information. Our thoughts are with all on board the plane, with their families and the rescue services attending.

Terminal 1 (domestic flights) of the airport in Havana is closed. International flight terminals 2 and 3 are now operating normally.
