David Cameron appointed Prime Minister

Mr Cameron was invited to form a Government by Her Majesty the Queen tonight.

His appointment comes after the General Election on May 6th.

Mr Cameron said he intended to form a ‘proper and full coalition’ with the Liberal Democrats to provide ‘strong, stable government.’
