UK-Iceland defence and security consultations in London
Meeting on 7 March to discuss bilateral defence and security matters, together with recent international developments.
British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Ministry of Defence officials met with representatives of the Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Interior on Friday 7 March to discuss bilateral defence and security matters and recent international developments including the dire situation in Ukraine. These were productive discussions, and both sides agreed to greater collaboration on areas including search and rescue, cyber security and security developments in the High North.
