Deputy Prime Minister attends Stephen Lawrence Memorial Service
The Deputy Prime Minister attended the Stephen Lawrence Memorial Service today in London.
The service marks the twentieth anniversary of Stephen Lawrence’s death.
Ahead of the service, the Deputy Prime Minister said:
Today we remember Stephen Lawrence, his legacy and his loving parents’ fight for justice. Our greatest tribute to Stephen and his family is to stand together, in solidarity, against all forms of racism, prejudice and hate. Much has been achieved in the last twenty years – but every day we must strive to do better.
