Driving licence fees consultation webchat

DVLA will be hosting a webchat on the driving licence fees consultation with customers on 15 August 2014 at 2pm.

The webchat will give customers and stakeholders the opportunity to ask DVLA finance and policy leads questions on the driving licence fees consultation.

Consultation proposal

The consultation proposal is the first of a 2 phase review. The review will be on:

• the first application for a driving licence
• 10 year renewals of photocard driving licences
• digital tachographs

By focusing on these transactions it allows the DVLA to help first time drivers, professional drivers and the large proportion of all drivers who have to renew their photocard licence every 10 years. This is your opportunity to get in touch with us directly and we welcome any questions about the consultation.
