British Universities Fair 2017 brings opportunities to Dominicans

The Department for International Trade at the British Embassy in the Dominican Republic is organising the 2017 British Universities Fair in Santo Domingo.

12 highly regarded United Kingdom universities will visit the Dominican Republic to join the education fair. The institutions are interested in welcoming Dominican students to undertake undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees.

The Fair will show the variety of educational opportunities offered in the UK for those seeking an exceptional academic experience. Fair attendees can speak to college representatives and find out more about studying in the UK.

It provides a great opportunity for prospective applicants to the Chevening Scholarships Programme to explore UK universities and their courses.

Another objective of the universities’ visit is to further enhance relations between the UK and the Dominican Republic Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology (MESCyT).

Information for attendees

The Fair will be held at the Piantini Hall located in the JW Marriott Hotel on Tuesday, 3 October from 14:30 to 20:00.
