Embassy and Consulate-General closed 6 March for crisis training day

British Embassy Tokyo and Consulate-General Osaka will be conducting crisis training and exercises during the week of 3 – 7 March.

On Thursday 6 March, the British Embassy Tokyo and the British Consulate-General in Osaka will be closed for business as we will be conducting a crisis training exercise.

We apologise for any inconvenience to our customers. This is an essential part of our planning to ensure that we are able to respond effectively in the event of a crisis and meet our responsibilities to British nationals in Japan.

Normal services will resume on Friday 7 March, 2014.
