Over six hundred personalities from the political, business, academic and cultural world, as well as senior officers of top Chilean media outlets, attended the Residence of Ambassador Fiona Clouder to celebrate the 92nd birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The guest of honour of the Queen’s Birthday Party (QBP) held on 24 April was Charles Bowman, the Lord Mayor of London, who is the global ambassador for the UK’s financial and professional services industry. Lord Mayor Bowman visited Chile to boost financial and professional sector links, with a special focus on fin-tech and green finance, and to promote the new edition of Chile Day to take place in London this year.

The occasion was an opportunity for Ambassador Fiona Clouder, who will leave office in June 2018, to say goodbye officially to her contacts in the country.

The QBP was also an opportunity to celebrate the best of UK design and innovation. This was possible thanks to the collaboration of world-class British brands present in Chile such as Loake, Lush, Dyson, Triumph Motorcycles, Jaguar, Aston Martin, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Mini Cooper, JCB, Twinings, Satellite Applications Catapult and Herman Miller, who displayed some of their best products.
